Professional Video and Photography
Everyone has a story worth sharing.
I help people and organizations tell those stories through film. Sometimes it’s a patient’s journey, a nonprofit’s impact, or the atmosphere of a neighborhood café. Other times it’s a university program, a local event, or a business bringing something new to the world.
My aim is simple: to capture people and places as they are, and to help you show that to the world in a way that feels true. Have a look through some of my work below, and if it calls you, please reach out!
Branded Content/promotions
Fellesverkstedet is a creative workshop and fabrication space in Oslo, Norway that empowers artists, makers, and designers with access to high-end tools and a collaborative environment. I was commissioned to create a short branded documentary capturing the energy, process, and community that define the space. This video aims to reflect the spirit of curiosity, craftsmanship, and possibility that Fellesverkstedet inspires every day.
Adventure Film
In 2024, I along with a group of international runners, attempted to run across the entire length of Nepal through the Great Himalayan Trail. Through 1700km and roughly 80k meters of elevation, each runner would discover within them an indelible strength. Although my camera and I could only capture part of this trail, this short film conveys more than enough to share the essence of the experience.
Advocacy
Here is a video I produced for the International Crisis Group, discussing the globally neglected crisis in Sudan. Here, our trustee, Mo Ibrahim, offers us a sobering message, urging the international community to step up and take decisive action to bring peace to Sudan.
“Where is the responsibility to protect?” he asks. “You declared that some time ago. Can you honor it?”
Senior Analyst for Gender and Conflict, Floor Keuleers, sheds light on the impact of the local Islamic State affiliate’s strict gender restrictions on women’s lives in Tillabery. Stories like these are essential to understanding the intersection of conflict and gender. I hope this video contributes to the dialogue on protecting and empowering marginalized voices during crises.
Ibrahim Maïga on Mali’s sovereignist shift. It’s a crucial look at the balance between sovereignty, security, and social investment.
Stroke Recovery
Ipsihand is a revolutionary stroke rehabilitation device that can be used at home. It uses an EEG headset, a robotic hand piece, and a tablet to help stroke survivors regain motor function in their hand or arm. The device works by reading one’s intention to move, and helps rewire the nerves capability of doing so over time with assisted training.
Working with the company Neurolutions, I’ve produced a series of films highlighting the resilience of stroke survivors and the reality of recovery. My video with John Anas shares his journey through recovery, and how his guitar became his best companion. The goal of this work is to remind people that recovery doesn’t have to feel isolating, and that life after a stroke can be full of hope.
STILL LIFE
Consolation no. 3 in D flat Major, by Franz Liszt, is, to me, one of the greatest masterpieces of classical music. Walking around Williamsburg one day in March I sought out mundane moments that felt to me like what the peice is trying to say.
My brother and I set out into the woods one day in the summer of 2024. We were sure to leave a trail of bacon grease so the bears could follow us if they liked. I brought along my FX3 to capture some of these moments. The beauty of Adirondacks speaks for itself,
